WEEK 3

Here I take you through Peter Kaneen’s (a level 2 jumps coach) step session.

Excuse some of technique and leg speed. As you can see I’m not a sprinter or a jumper 😂. Saying that it is something I need to work on!!

All endurance runners need strength and leg speed both to improve times and to prevent injury. These movements are great for foot, and ankle stability. I added this prior to my main speed session instead of drills, but you can turn this into a session on its own by increasing the number of steps climbed, or the number of reps. Why not give these a try in your next session?
